Dear Juno or any other teen in a similar situation,
I cannot the event or even the idea of even having a child, therefore I can't criticize you for what has happened. If it was a mistake, then that is ok and I believe more people in this world need to understand that mistakes are made more commonly than they think. Everyone makes mistakes and that's why they're so important because our job as humans is to learn from them.
And it may seem as if I'm trying to say that "sex is bad don't do it again." No, not at all what I'm really trying to get across is just take the time to really think if you're ready and if this is what you want to do. And if it is, then go ahead, no one can stop you.
The thing is, no one can blame you for having sex, it is strictly in our nature to reproduce and when our body is ready for fertilization, (i.e. when the male is able to produce sperm and when the female is able to provide and egg) then so is our mind and that's gives us the urge to have sex. Anyone who tells you otherwise is ignorant and uneducated on the subject of human life.
I believe you made the right choice by keeping the baby and giving it up for someone who is in better condition to take care of it. Again, I can't imagine myself in your situation making such difficult real world decisions like that, so kudos to you, Juno, and good luck with all the future endeavors your life will bring to you.
